ABOUT M.A. ROSS

Hello, I'm M.A. Ross.  I'm an author of Scottish contemporary fiction and released my independently published debut novel EMPTY in October 2025.  The sequel should hopefully be available sometime in early 2027 and I promise to reveal the title and cover very soon!

I grew up in Inverness in the Highlands of Scotland and both my parents hail from the Western Isles which is partly what inspires my writing.  I now live in Glasgow with my husband and we both answer to our bossy cat, Cossie.

I am an avid reader of fiction of all genres and my favourite authors include Matt Haig, Joanne Harris, Marian Keyes, Liane Moriarty and Sebastian Faulks.
